VENTURING

As a Venturer, you will join other teenagers in planning and operating your Venturing crew with guidance from qualified adult Advisors. To participate, you must have completed the eight grade and be between 14 and 20 years of age.

What kinds of activities do Venturers do?
There are too many to list here, but some are backpacking, sailing, scuba diving, arts and hobbies, horseback riding, teaching skills to others, rock climbing, living history, cave exploring, service projects, and much more!

Is there more to Venturing than outdoor emphasis?
Yes! Although outdoor activities are major aspects of Venturing, there are other important features like leadership. in Venturing, variety is cool, and so is having fun with your friends.

The PWC-TLC is currently growing.  Each Crew is welcome to send as many youth and adults to the meetings.  We want to hear what you have to say.  Each Crew should select one person to represent the Crew when it comes time to vote.  One adult from each Crew will help comprise the Advisory Board.
