SUMMER CAMP EMPLOYMENTCamp Seph Mack is a Scout camp which exists for the sole purpose of developing leadership and educating the youth that visit each year. Located near Indiana, PA, the camp is operated by the Penn's Woods Council based in Ebensburg, Pennsylvania. The camp is a year-round facility with an extensive summer program featuring everything from the basic of camp skills, nature/ecology, swimming and boating, shooting, field sports, climbing, and handicrafts. Each year we serve over 800 youth through a six week summer season. The season consists of five weeks of traditional Scout programming and one week of Cub Scout resident camp. The camp's aquatics facilities are among the finest in the nation. Two spring staff development weekends and a week of training is also held before the season begins.
Opportunities AvailableAnnually, the Penn's Woods Council employs approximately 50 individuals in various positions ranging from the program areas of aquatics, ecology, handicraft, climbing wall, shooting sports, and outdoor skills, to the important support areas like the kitchen, first aid lodge, trading post, maintenance, and office staff. If you have a major in the areas of education, environment, medicine, communication, business, or almost any other category, we have a position for you. In some cases, your summer position may work toward credit for a college internship. Age RequirementsPlease refer to the Camp Staff Application for age requirements.CIT Program: Boy Scouts must be at least 14 years of age AND at least First Class in rank to apply for the CIT (Counselor In Training) program.
